Nick Jr and PBS Kids. (cable vision's channel #123 and #131 in the Bronx )  support early childhood development. Programs like Blues Clues, Dora the Explorer, Dragon Tales and Caillou enhances a child's early development in social, emotional, and creative skills while learning basic functions such as sequencing, problem solving, reasoning, and even a different language. In my opinion it's programs like these that prepare children for preschool. Therefore parents should utilize them as a guide so that by the time their child enters preschool, they will already be familiar with certain preschool concepts.
