WELCOME Dr. HARDMAN'S HISTORY 14 WI WEBSITE

(Medieval History)

On this site you'll find most of your main course materials and a few helpful guides.

Many of our primary source document readings can be found on The Internet Medieval Sourcebook, editted by Dr. Paul Halsall and hosted on Fordham University's webiste (http://legacy.fordham.edu/Halsall/sbook.asp). Specific addresses for daily readings can be found on the syllabus.

Copies of readings distributed as handouts will be available here, too, as PDFs.

Copies of the powerpoints, instructions for source reports, and the HW Discussion Forum, are available on Blackboard.

Instructions for your source reports are on Blackboard.

ALWAYS FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME!

Here are some tips:

Emails are more effective if I know who you are and what you need. It doesn't need to be fancy, though it helps to communicate in clearly and fully. I answer emails quickly (within 24 hours on weekdays usually and sometimes sooner). If I don't answer, check TWICE to see if you typed in the wrong email address. When I answer, I might follow up with questions to help you...

Try to ask questions, or express concerns, well in advance of deadlines. I usually sign off email by 5 or 6 pm, even on exam days. Emergencies happen, but do your best to make sure I can do my best.
