In my comparison essay, I will be looking at two beings, who are specifically categorized as evil for their malevolent acts. These are two beings that are mostly associated with exposure of blood, Count Dracula and Elizabeth Bathory.

Elizabeth Bathory is widely known as the "Blood Countess". Both of these nemesis dealt with blood in different manners. Count Dracula is a vampire, and we know that a vampire's favorite hobby is sucking the blood of their victim. The Blood Countess on the other hand, had a hobby of torturing her captives. A specific violent act she used to perform on her victims was slashing young females, draining them from their blood, and then she would bathe in their blood. She believed that doing this will maintain her appearance young. She was actually considered to be an attractive woman.

I will be discussing several differences and similarities between Count Dracula and The Blood Countess. An aspect of how Count Dracula differers from the Blood Countess is that Dracula was a fictional character originally from Bram Stoker. The creepy thing about The Blood Countess is, that her story is actually written in history!
