The Clinical (CLE) component of The Radiologic Technology Program strives to develop effective communication skills in our students, both in speaking and listening. Because of the multicultural background of our students and the patient population we serve, a professional dialogue in the clinical setting is essential.

Throughout your clinical training it will be necessary for you to assess many aspects of the patient’s information to include, accurate personal data, prior health conditions and the current problems for which they are in your care.

In addition, you will be required to instill confidence in your patient by fully explaining each Radiographic Procedure to them and answering any questions they may have about the procedure.
