My name is Teana Porter I am currently a student at the Bcc College, an extension of the Cuny University. This is my Forth semester and I cannot wait to graduate so that I have an accomplishment.
I love to paint and I very good . it takes me a very long time to develop an idea about a painting i want to work on. the thing is, what is in my head is way clearer and better than the finish product but i see an improvement every time i paint, which tells me practice makes perfect. If only I could paint what is in my head, it would be something to look at, but to be a good painter you have to practice, which I don’t. I do paint very fast thought once I get the idea it takes less than a week to paint if am in the right mood.
The Partnership
I am a part of a whole and never alone.
what i do not know is which one of us is the product of the other.
no one knows and we may never know
but after the split of that egg there was two and there shall always be two.
and they shall never be alone.
I am never alone for as I grew, she grew, taking in the same air and substance as I did. she is an extension of me are i of her, the extension is there but invisible, for we walk and function in the same ways not even I can tell the difference at times.
There is a kind of balance that only nature knows
for some was born with another
while some was born alone.
who is to know are will it ever be known
why two should bear the load while others bear it alone.
it is said that two is better than one.
then why did nature play that trick when there is only one.
may there never be a split between me and my sis.
